現在的年輕人應該不太聽過Dire Straits吧? 這個樂團翻成中文叫"險峻合唱團"
Sultans of Swing 是我最喜歡的一首. 靈魂人物主唱Mark Knophler 所彈的一手好吉他, 與Eric Clapton可以並列英國兩大吉他之神.(Eric應該就很多人認識了~)
記得第一次認識這個樂團, 是大概13年前吧. 跑去剛嫁人的大姐家作客, 發現姐夫收藏了一堆CD. 自認為對搖滾樂團很懂的我, 發現險峻合唱團這個奇怪的名子, 心裡想說姐夫不是都聽古典樂嗎? 居然買了張名不見經傳的搖滾CD. 順手就放進Player, 接下來便是一片措鄂... 這吉他彈的真是太好聽了, 配上主唱低沉的歌聲, 配樂更顯得精致. (當然後來就知道他們是大有來頭摟~)
好音樂真的是不會隨時間消逝, 在網路發達的今天, You tube上就可以看到他們LIVE的表演了. 有興趣瞧瞧喔~(文章底下有連結)
其實Mark Knophler 原本是一位記者, 我想這與他的作品中的歌詞都好像在說故事有點關聯.(不知道是不是看了窮爸爸富爸爸, 才不好好當個記者就好了:P)
這首 Sultans of swing 吉他非常好聽, 跟現在的樂團都使用簡化的和弦(Power Chord)大為不同. 想不到形容詞, 就用"精致"二字來形容好了.ㄏㄏ
